8va LOWER

there are times when you want to play really low notes, you will have to use many ledger lines and it will be difficult to read, that's why you use a symbol to play lower notes but you write those notes in a place that you can easily read. The symbol for an 8va Lower is like this:

Look at this video, the first set of notes look really low, even with the bass clef, so is hard to read, but if you write the notes higher and place the 8va lower symbol, the music is easy to read but you will play it an 8va lower, or eight notes below (Always an 8va is the same note, like Do to Do or Fa to Fa or Sol# to Sol#. Both set of notes sound the same, even though, they look different, the first one is lower than the second one
